Journey Into Happiness

Hello fellow journeyers,

If you haven’t heard of this course yet, I want to introduce you to Journey Into Happiness, an online monthly one-day self-immersion retreat, live-streamed from India by one of my own favorite teachers. It will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 22, from 9:30am to 6:30pm Central time.

If there is a little voice within you urging you to try it, or take the course again, please listen.  There is huge value and a low cost of $49. I personally have taken this course each month, for almost a year, and in each course, I’ve received so many gifts and grown stronger during this really challenging time — which is why I want to bring your attention to the opportunity. This course has created valuable personal growth, inner peace, and raised the vibration of thousands of people across the world.

Journey Into Happiness is taught by an enlightened teacher in India, Tejasa, who facilitates, both experientially and energetically, a path to self-inquiry — leading to forgiveness of past hurts, greater clarity and focus, a more open heart, better relationships, more abundance, more joy, and many more gifts.  Through contemplation, meditation, breathing and movement, we release self-sabotaging hurts, judgements and beliefs, and free ourselves to move into a state of inner peace, connection and love – even in the midst of such external discord and conflict.  We can more powerfully step into being the changemakers this world needs!

For more info, please check out the registration and info page here or cut and paste into your browser:  https://www.eventbrite.com/e/a-journey-into-happiness-an-online-event-tickets-119744718677    The cost is only $49 and you can participate via live-stream in the comfort of your home.  You must register by Sept. 19, so don’t delay.  Please pass this flyer on to anyone you think might benefit! Helping others to grow blesses you and blesses the world.

If you have any questions, please reach out to me!

With love and light,

Come to our new Chicago location at Moving Life Studio, 5115 N. Ravenswood Ave., 2nd Floor, Chicago.   We meet for meditation and the Oneness Deeksha, from 7:30-9pm, on the Third Tuesday of each month!

Feel the support of community as we raise our vibration and ground ourselves in the powerful, healing vibration of the heart!  All are welcome, no experience necessary.

We will clear chakras with a chanting meditation, and then you will receive an energy transmission known as Deeksha, which supports a shift in the functioning of the brain, as seen in long-time meditators. The fight-or-flight area of the brain is subdued, and the frontal lobe (the area of unity and peace) is activated.  Experience how profoundly clear you feel when that constant inner chatter becomes quiet and the heart begins to flower. Our true nature is bliss, and Deeksha supports a return to our authentic nature.

No charge  – love donations gratefully accepted.

Exploring Vulnerability, Acceptance, and Connection With Shamanic Journeying

Join a Two-Part Tele-class on Wed., Aug. 3, from 7:30-9:30pm CST, and Sun., Aug. 7, from 7-9pm CST:  EXPLORING VULNERABILITY, ACCEPTANCE, AND CONNECTION WITH SHAMANIC JOURNEYING

As the poet Rumi wrote: ” Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers that you have built within yourself against it.”

Do you long for a lover, partner, friend, relative, or spouse who…

  • Sees and honors the real you?
  • Loves you just as you are?
  • Is committed to the relationship’s growth?
  • Shares a profound heart connection?

Using shamanic journeying, meditation, and discussion, we’ll explore how self-awareness, self-acceptance and vulnerability are doors to establishing relationships filled with authenticity and intimate connection.

Class 1: Wed., Aug. 3, 7:30-9:30pm CST, cost $25

Class 2:  Sun., Aug. 7, 7-9pm CST, cost $25

Or:  Both classes paid in advance for $45 total

Take both of one of these classes. If you miss one, a recording will be provided.

Class 1:  During this first class, you will meet our personal Spiritual Guid and have an opportunity to explore areas of lack of awareness and fear that may have been unconsciously sabotaging the happiness of our relationships. You will look at childhood wounds that might be contributing to reactions that push partners away or guild energetic protection around your heart.  You’ll ask your Spiritual Guide to show you karmic (past-life) influences or ancestral conditioning contributing to relationship patterns. With higher spiritual guidance and group energetic support, unexpected insights might be revealed and shifts may occur.

Class 2:  During the second night, we’ll create space for a profound inner journey to help you move into greater self-acceptance and vulnerability.  When you practice unconditional self-acceptance, you attract more unconditional love into your life.  With increased trust and connection to inner guidance, you are able to become more emotionally honest, resilient, courageous, and vulnerable with others in your life…and in return, others may feel greater freedom for acceptance, safety, and vulnerability with you.

Facilitated by Paula Rosenfeld, author, shamanic healer, Oneness Trainer, clairvoyant and Akashic Record reader, and spiritual coach, with over 20 years experience holding sacred space for shamanic journeying.

Feedback from previous shamanic teleclass participants:

“I LOVED the tele-class format. One reason I loved it was because of convenience (no commute, doing the class in my own home… and not having to drive 30 minutes home, etc.). I also found I felt very deeply connected with the other participants, so I didn’t long for an opportunity to meet in person. Also, with the shamanic journeys, I felt much more comfortable letting go, releasing, and being with whatever showed up because I didn’t have an “audience” and because I was in my own safe space. I actually think I would have a really hard time journeying in person with a group of people (or at least a much harder time). “                                              -S.B., Chicago area

“I think the class exceeded my expectations. As I’m coming to learn, when I explore my spirituality I often get different outcomes than I expected. Not only did I grow spiritually, I learned so much more about myself and my truth than I anticipated. Most of what I learned was a surprise but in retrospect I can see why I’m being guided this way.”                                         -J.S., Minnesota

“I am so thankful that I was able to participate in this special class. I feel like I have established a foundation for daily meditation and have become more self-aware of my self-limiting beliefs.  Class was also a great reminder that I am not alone in this physical journey.  I am grateful for the seeds that have been planted and I am excited for the continued growth ahead!”                     -I.M., Chicago area

Have a meditation break!

With all the research out now about the huge physical, mental, emotional and spiritual benefits from meditation, are you doing it every day? Meditation relieves stress, clarifies your thinking, changes your brain, helps to deal with pain, possibly lowers blood pressure, and can deeply impact your spiritual development.

I generally do some form of meditation once or twice a  day.  Here’s a very easy form of mindfulness meditation* that can be done, anytime, anywhere, even at your desk in the midst of a busy work day (one of the best times to take a short meditation break!).  No need for incense or special music:

  1. Sit up straight in your chair, with your feet flat on the floor and your hands resting comfortably in your lap. Close your eyes.
  2. Focus on your breathing, taking slow, deep breaths, and exhaling fully. Place your attention right at the tip of your nose, at your nostrils, where the air comes in and goes out.
  3. As you focus on your breathing, count each inhale and each exhale, counting from 1 to 10, and then from 10 to 1. In other words, first inhale is “1”, exhale is “2,” next inhale in is “3,” exhale is “4”, and so on, up to “10.” Then count inhales and exhales in reverse, from 10 to 1.*
  4. Repeat step 3, and watch your breaths begin to become softer, and seem to merge.
  5. Stop counting after two rounds, but continue gently breathing, noticing your belly and chest rising and falling with each breath.
  6. If your mind becomes distracted, as it will, just notice that you’ve become distracted and return to focusing on your breath.  This is what the mind does – it is unruly and will take us into the past, the future, or into a daydream.  With practice, you will train this wild beast!
  7. Keep focusing on your breathing in this way for 5 or 10 minutes, or as long a time as you have. See if you can work it up to 20 – 30 minutes every day.
  8. Enjoy the refreshing calmness you feel after meditating!  You may notice how your life begins to flow easier, how you get to know yourself much better and have spontaneous insights, and how your compassion for the struggles of others begin to grow!
